"My Starbucks Rewards"
White Issue

My Starbucks Rewards (MSR) is new to China in 2011. Released in the middle of February 2011, the white Card (shown above) can be purchased at any participating Starbucks stores in Mainland China ( excluding Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai). After buying the MSR Card for about RMB88*(about $14 US), the customer needs to create an MSR account and redeem the benefits before the expiration date.

With the purchase and registration of this Card, various "rewards" are given depending on the frequency of use. Read the official detail here.

As far as the Card is concerned, its a basic white with a gold cup in the center.

SPECIAL NOTE: There are two versions of the White "gold" Card. The original has the old Starbucks logo, where the newest has the latest logo (sirens eye). Click magnifying glass for closer look of the original.

When you have 25 Stars in your MSR Account, you'll be upgrade to Gold Level with a specially designed gold card (shown below).

Gold Issue

With the Gold Card, rewards are upgraded with the benefits below:

 

*About RMB Chinese currency is called Renminbi (people's money), often abbreviated as RMB. Issued by the People's Bank of China it is the sole legal tender for both the Chinese nationals and foreign tourists. The unit of Renminbi is yuan and the smaller, jiao and fen. The conversion among the three is: 1 yuan = 10 jiao =100 fen. Chinese people normally refer to Yuan as Kuai, Jiao as Mao. RMB is issued both in notes and coins. The denominations of paper notes include 100, 50, 20, 10, 5, 2 and 1 yuan; 5, 2 and 1 jiao; and 5, 2 and 1 fen. The denominations of coins are 1 yuan; 5, 2 and 1 jiao; and 5, 2 and 1 fen.
