"Nations"
Issued for the 4th of July holiday in 2002, this card is also known as the "Walt Whitman" because of his quote: "Here is not merely a nation, but a teeming nation of nations." The card was available in 2002 at the same time as the "Toucan" card, so not many of each were produced and now are highly collectable.
The sleeve has a faded look of our Stars and Stripes. Inside the sleeve are printed these words:
"Independence Day has a special meaning for Americans of every faith, every color - everyone of us. As we gather to celebrate our freedom, let us also renew our commitment to a great nation founded on liberty and justice for all."
The card is considered hard to find. The sleeve however is considered rare to mega rare to find. Expect to pay $100.00 + for the set!
