FAQ

Q: What Credit Cards do you accept?

A: We no longer accept credit or debit cards directly.  We now use PayPal exclusively for payment of your debit or credit card.  Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express are accepted via PayPal.

 Q: I don't have a PayPal account - what do I do?

A: PayPal is quick and very easy to setup for your purchase.  To start go to:
https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/account-selection

Q: What if I use the PERSONAL CHECK option - how does that work?

A: Some customers don't use or own debit / credit cards.  We understand and have made the option of PERSONAL CHECK for them.  Once your order is sent, it will remain in our que for a period of 7 days for your check to arrive.  If we don't receive your check within that time, the order is cancelled.

A better option - instead of mailing your check is taking a picture of your completed check with your smart phone and emailing it to sales18@buckscards.com   Your order will ship much faster and you don't need to mail a personal check.

Q: What currency does the Store use?

A: U.S. Dollar

Q: What if I want a Starbucks Card loaded - how do I do that?

A:  First, It's important that we only load U.S. issued Starbucks Cards.  Once they are loaded, they can be used and reloaded in many other countries, including but not limited to: Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Ireland, Mexico, and the United Kingdom.

Once you've selected the U.S. Card to your Store shopping cart, select the category UNIQUE CARDS & ITEMS.  In this section you'll see an option CARD LOAD $5.00.  Add this to your shoppping cart.  Each quantity equals $5.00, so if you want to load $20.00 to your Starbucks Card, select the quantity of "4".  By default the quantity is "1" which is $5.00.

IMPORTANT:  If you are ordering more than one (1) card, you need to clarify which one's you want loaded.  This is done in CUSTOMER NOTES during check-out.  If you have questions, feel free to send us an email to sales18@buckscards.com

Q: How does the Store menu work?

A: Under categories, you’ll see links for the countries we serve.  You can click any one for the full list.  In the case of countries that have an “arrow”, that category has sub-categories.  Hovering the mouse over the main category allows the “fly out menu” to activate.  You then can view or move your mouse over the sub-category and click for that product information.  NOTE: Clicking the main category will give you everything in the main and sub-category.

Q: Does BucksCards buy Starbucks Cards from private individuals?

A: In short, Yes.  However; we are always looking for the best quality cards for our collectors.  Send us an email of your collection/inventory with quantities and the price you’re looking to receive and we’ll pass it on to our buyer.  NOTE: If you don’t have a list, we might suggest downloading the current USA Inventory List, located in our Download section of the Store.

Q: How do I find my USPS Priority tracking information?

A: Once signed-in, click MY ACCOUNT, then the ORDER HISTORY tab, then locate the order and look for the tracking number (linked to USPS for your convenience).

Q: I’m not a collector.  Can I use these Starbucks Cards for normal use?

A: It depends.  If you live in the United States and desire a card from the USA page, yes.  These cards can be activated, loaded and used as normal.

Q: What if I want to buy another country card for actual use?

A: Assuming you live in the USA and desire a card from another country (i.e. Greece, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Russia, Singapore, etc.) the answer is no.  Cards from specific countries are designed to work within those countries only.

If you order a card issued from another country and assume you can load it at your local Starbucks store, it won't work and the item can not be returned.

Q: Then where can I use my Starbucks Card?

A: Starbucks Cards are accepted at most Starbucks locations in North America, including airport and grocery locations. Starbucks Cards can also be used interchangeably at most stores in Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Ireland, Mexico, and the United Kingdom.

It should be noted that Starbucks Cards issued in Greece, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Portugal, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand and Turkey (among others) may only be used in the country from which they are issued.
