Onward (Taiwan)

"Onward" is the title of Howard Schultz' new book to be released in Taiwan on April 26th, 2011. This Starbucks Card is only available with the purchase of the Taiwanese edition of the book, available in corporate Starbucks stores.

The Card design shows the new sirens eye (logo) in the bottom left and again centered in the middle of the Card, with ONWARD written below. The centered logo has two shades, 1/2 brown and 1/2 green. The color reflects the logo history as brown was used back in 1971 and green today with the "onward" progression of the design. Interesting that the brown side is rough, the edges are not smooth, like it was painted in watercolors.
