Washington D.C. 2013

This is the second Washington DC Starbucks Card, released in April 2013 and only in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. In April, the cherry blossoms are in full bloom and it's depicted along with two iconic memorials to D.C. The first is the Washington Monument, an obelisk on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., built to commemorate George Washington, commander-in-chief of the Continental Army and the first American president. The second is the Lincoln Memorial. It's an American national monument built to honor the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln. It is located on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. across from the Washington Monument.
