Chicago River

In 2015, Starbucks issued the Chicago Drawbridge Card. This 2016 design focus' on the Chicago river that runs through the city, so Chicago River is it's named and released late August 2016 in the greater Chicago metro.

As mentioned in the previous years (2015) Chicago Drawbridge listing - the city has many drawbridges; the most of any city in North America. And in classic Second City form, is surpassed only by Amsterdam as the city with the most drawbridges in the world. This design highlights the river and surrounding city skyscrapers of Chicago. The Chicago River is a system of rivers and canals with a combined length of 156 miles that runs through the city of Chicago where the water originates from neighboring Lake Michigan.
