Mandala (India)
Mandala (India) Mandala (back)
This is India's second and exclusive Starbucks Card, released during the first quarter of 2013.

Many names have appeared for this Card on eBay and other sources. MANDALA has the meaning of "circle". Mandala's have spiritual and ritual significance in Hinduism and Buddhism. Depending on whom you speak with about the meanings of these circles, it can become very confusing.

The basic form of most Hindu and Buddhist mandala's is a square with four gates containing a circle with a center point. Each gate is in the shape of a T. In short, mandala's often exhibit radial balance. In common use, mandala has become a generic term for any plan, chart or geometric pattern that represents the cosmos metaphysically or symbolically, a microcosm of the universe from an enlightened perspective, i.e. that of the principle deity.

Okay, that was heavy, but it's just a pretty Card with the influence of India.

Just left of the logo is STARBUCKS CARD in gold. The bottom left says INDIA.
