Corner Stores Taiwan Sleeve

This was Taiwan's 4th Starbucks card, called "Corner Stores" and was issued October 6th, 2004. We are told only 20,000 units of this card were produced and is Taiwan's first "clear" card. That makes this card truly unique in Taiwan (as compared to the previous three issues). The "smart chip" is again implanted on this card.

The image shows four young people (three drinking coffee) in front of a Starbucks Coffee Shop on a Fall day. Since this card is issued for Taiwan, you'd think the store signs would be in Taiwanese, instead are printed in English. It almost looks like a street scene from Europe instead of Asia. Another Interesting note is the wording on the theater. It reads "MOVIES THEATER" instead of MOVIE.

As shown, the matching Sleeve is the perfect complement to this card. The inside and back are colored in moss green. The card pocket normally is sealed on each side, but this Sleeve is only sealed on the right side....allowing the card to be slid out if wanted.
